Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
We collect the minimum amount of personal data needed to operate this site and send you anything you have explicitly asked for. We never sell your data. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to opt out.
Information We Collect
- Analytics data: We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors find and use our site. GA4 collects pageviews, time on page, referrer, device type, and approximate location (city level). IP addresses are anonymised before processing.
- Email addresses: If you subscribe to our newsletter, take the supplement quiz, or use any tool that emails you a result, we collect your email address with your consent. We use it only to send you what you asked for and the newsletter you opted into.
- Cookies & local storage: We use cookies for analytics, preference persistence (remembering you accepted the cookie banner), and anti-spam protection on forms. Strictly necessary cookies are set automatically; analytics cookies are loaded only after consent.
- Affiliate click data: When you click an outbound product link, our redirector logs the click (timestamp, source page, target merchant) so we can measure which content is driving conversions. The log is keyed by anonymised session, not by you personally.
How We Use Your Information
- To improve content quality and site performance based on aggregate analytics.
- To send the newsletter you subscribed to and the resources you requested.
- To attribute affiliate revenue to specific content (aggregate, anonymised).
- To detect and prevent abuse — comment spam, scraping, automated form submissions.
Third-Party Services
We use a small set of third-party services that may collect data according to their own privacy policies: Google Analytics (analytics), an email-marketing provider (newsletter delivery), affiliate networks (commission tracking), and our hosting provider (operational logs). We do not share, sell, or rent your personal data to anyone outside this set.
Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
If you are in the EU/EEA or California, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you. You can also opt out of analytics tracking by declining the cookie banner, using browser privacy settings, or installing a tracker-blocking extension. To exercise these rights, email us at contact@rankofsupplements.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Data Retention
Analytics data is retained for 14 months in aggregate form. Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe (every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link). Affiliate click logs are retained for 90 days for fraud-detection purposes, then anonymised and aggregated.
Children
RankOfSupplements is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The Last Updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated via the newsletter to active subscribers.
